Broadband Exit Fee Calculator
Our broadband exit fee calculator shows whether leaving your contract early and paying an early termination charge is worthwhile. If a better deal saves you more per month than the ETC spread over the remaining term, switching makes financial sense.
Broadband Contract Exit Fee Calculator
Calculate your exact early termination charge and work out whether switching now still saves you money despite the exit fee. Uses Ofcom's fair usage rules.
Enter the monthly cost in your broadband contract and how many months remain. The exit fee is typically calculated as the remaining months’ subscription, sometimes discounted. The calculator shows the total exit fee alongside the saving you would achieve by switching to a better deal — helping you determine whether switching now or waiting until the end of the contract is more cost-effective overall. Some providers reduce the exit fee for customers switching due to price increases mid-contract: Ofcom rules require providers to notify customers at least 30 days before a price rise, and customers have the right to exit without penalty if they reject the increase. Check your provider’s terms when notified of a price increase — it may create a penalty-free exit window.
